My Life With The Walter Boys By Ali Novak, My Life With The Walter Boys #1 SHORT REVIEW

“You can’t prepare for love. It’s not like taking your driver’s test or the SATs. It’s a gift. One that can happen at any moment.”

-Riley

You couldn’t control everything, because it wasn’t all meant to be perfect. Sometimes things needed to be messy.

You Jackie! You are a real control freak but I understand you. She lost her family and don’t wanna get attached or heal cause it feels like a sin. Yeah, Understandable. A mess? That’s Coley, ma boy. He got that bad boy style but u know a cute one, really really cute one. Deep down, he was wounded but such a romantic. Sometimes he could be a total asshole but then there were moments… moments that makes Jackie melt. He always found that exact spot, that one perfect point where her walls would fall. From the moment they met, he was down bad for Jackie. Also Jackie has that kind of flutters. They make me feel like I am 16 and read romance books. Coley throws barbed lines at Jackie, not to hurt, but to flirt. 😏 You got me, Coley. You really got me. Unfortunately, there’s a love triangle… well, not exactly a love triangle. But it’s a spoiler, so this is where I hold back…

I watched the series, and there were some differences—especially the ending and a few critical parts of the story. There was just two moment that I wished they had been in the book. They were the rain scene where they talked and the teapot scenarios. The book itself was fantastic and there was chemistry more than romantic moments. It made me feel nervous in the best way, and I constantly wanted to skip ahead to the part where they finally get together.

“Loving you just crept up on me, and before I knew it, I was head over heels for you.”

-Cole

“It’s like—you’re gravity and I’m just a little blip on your radar.”

-Cole
