We’re all human and we all make mistakes. Especially when we are struggling.
Actually, age gap isn’t usually my kind of trope but I really liked this story. I love healing stories where both the FMC and MMC are dealing with emotional wounds. This was the first book I read this year, and honestly, I wasn’t much of a bookworm before. But after reading this, I started getting into books. It was such a great story, and I truly enjoyed it. Also, Beau was so protective—and you know I love protective guys. Plus, he was a soldier, and that just added to his charisma. Actually, he is pure charisma. I think most people will go into this book expecting Beau to be the broken hero but sweet Bailey is just as broken. She’s been shattered by a town that should’ve loved her, but instead, it tore her down. And yet, when the two of them came together, they started to mend each other slowly, tenderly putting the pieces back where they belonged. I was great to see them putting the pieces back. It was heart warming story. If you like broken hero trope you should read it.
