The Faking Game By Olivia Hayle SHORT REVIEW

“If you’re pretending to be my girlfriend, you’re only dating me.” I press my hands flat against the table. “So if you want to practice? You’ll practice with me.”

I love how West acts under Nora’s influence he’s romantic, thoughtful, and the kind of gentle kisser who lives for day or night cuddles. And I adore how deeply Nora is affected by him in return. This book is a magnificent slow burn romance. You first ease into the characters, then the story unfolds with such a warm, rhythmic flow. It delivers all my favorite tropes: slow burn, brother’s best friend, and even enemies to lovers, all wrapped up in a heartfelt journey. I totally melt for Weston, and he’s clearly head over heels for Nora. Honestly, they were both smitten from the moment they met. West was protective, hot, jealous, and incredibly supportive. Nora, on the other hand, seemed kind and easygoing but she was wearing mask. He taught her how to date, and she helped him deceive his mother. They started off as a team but then everything began to change. Not all at once, but slowy bit by bit.

She’s Rafe’s little sister. She’s mine to protect and mine to teach how to date, but she’s not mine in any other sense. She’s definitely not mine to taste.

There were so many intimate scenes, and they were handled with such care and depth. It was just WOW. I felt like I was melting, fluttering, excited, and even a little shy while reading. The tension? Absolutely everything. And the chemistry between them was beyond anything I could handle. The book was around 500 pages, and every minute spent reading it was absolutely worth it. I’ll definitely be rereading it. It’s easily one of the best books I’ve read in these tropes. You definitely have to read it you won’t regret giving it a try. You’ll get attached to the characters and find yourself turning the pages just to savor their moments. I’ll definitely be checking out Olivia Hayle’s other series after this!!!!

I’ve been afraid of ruining her, but here she is, ruining me. Lesson by lesson and day by day.
